Conjure Earth Spell
There's Conjure Lightning, Conjure Flame, and Conjure Frost, but no Conjure spell for Earth Damage. Would be nice to have it, especially as a W/E hammer/earth build. I know I could use it, anyone else?

Are there any earth weapons? (I haven't seen any, besides maybe earth wands/staves).

Yeah, I found a few Ebon Hafts, for hammer upgrades. The Ebon stuff uses earth damage.

Is there any advantage to earth damage? For a whle Lightning damage was the jazz, ipresume because in most spells it has armor penetration. With my earth elementalist i've found that there are plenty of villains that are susceptible to earth damage--but I assume this to be so for any particular type of elemental damage. (things that are particularly susceptable to earthdamage are thngs like Moss scarabs and the floating mesmer monsters) Also, since a recent update I have traded for an ebon sword hilt, but I didn't test it extensively...

I think that's the problem. Earth elementalists are already the best tanks in the game. (It's funny how many people will find it odd that my E/W runs into combat, "what do you think you're a warrior?" I am a warrior, didn't you see the W? Plus, your crappy 80 +20 phys armor is no match for my 110 +15 fire armor. But I digress.) For a warrior to be able to invest in a single elementalist line and get both to get the best armor rating in the game and the best damage buff in the game (Conjure element) would be ridiculously imbalanced. You must choose: damage, defense, or bite the bullet and invest in two elements.
If Conjure Earth were introduced, some major nerfage of Armor of Earth and the like would have to occur.

Good point Dreamsmith, it may be a bit unbalanced that way.

There is an elementalist for almost everyone . I straight air elementalist would never play the game like that yet they are both elementalists... I think I'll have to create an earth elementalist at some point... I think of it as the protector of the group.
Air: Nuker
Earth: Protector
Fire: AoE
Water: I don't have a clue... haven't looked into it too much.
Overgeneralizations of course, but they are roles that can be played by the very different builds.

Are earth elementalists still the best tanks in the game when their enchantments are busted? How do you feel when you walk into range of a nature's renewal? Rend enchantments? Warriors will always have their base 80 AL, elementalists won't.
I agree that combining the best defensive elemental line with more damage would be kinda silly.

On the other hand, there are some pretty mighty W/Els out there, using a couple Earth skills to tank better than any primary Elementalist could. They get the base warrior armor AND Earth. Sure, they don't have much energy, but you can still have a really high Earth attribute.

I know Earth shouldn't get a Conjure for obvious reasons, but it really sucks that my E/R earth ranger has to pump another element to conjure for her bow. I'm thinking of becoming an E/R air ranger just to use Conjure Lightning on a Shocking bow...
